Aura Clinic (“we,” “our,” “the clinic”) provides online homeopathic wellness consultations to patients across Pakistan, primarily over WhatsApp. Your privacy and the confidentiality of your health information are foundational to this service. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
1. What we collect
When you consult with us, we collect: your WhatsApp number and name; the health information you share during consultation (messages, voice notes, photos of affected areas, laboratory reports, prior prescriptions); your delivery address and order details; and payment information limited to the transaction itself (we never see or store card numbers or wallet credentials — payments are processed by the payment provider or collected as cash on delivery).
2. How we use it
Your information is used solely to: conduct your consultation and prepare your prescription; have it reviewed and signed by a registered homeopathic practitioner; prepare, dispatch, and deliver your order; follow up on your treatment and respond to your questions; and maintain your medical record so future consultations have your history. We do not use your health information for advertising, and we never sell or rent your data to anyone.
3. Who can see it
Access is strictly role-limited: the clinical team involved in your care, the reviewing registered practitioner, and the minimum operational staff needed to fulfil and support your order. Delivery partners receive only your name, address, phone number, and parcel — never your health information. Suppliers receive medicine lists with no patient identity attached beyond an internal reference number.
4. How it is protected
All data travels over encrypted connections (TLS) and is stored encrypted at rest, with additional protection on identifiers such as phone numbers. Staff access is governed by role-based permissions and recorded in audit logs. Backups are encrypted.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your medical records for as long as we provide your care and maintain your treatment history, so that your records are available to you and to our doctors whenever you consult us again — even years apart. You may request a copy of your records, or ask us to delete your data, at any time via our WhatsApp line; we will honour deletion requests except where a minimal record must be retained for legal or safety reasons.
6. Your records, your access
You can view your own records through the secure link we send you on WhatsApp, or through your account on this website. Your records are visible only to you and your care team; record pages are excluded from search engines.
